Young Arts

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn through the arts, and make particular efforts to engage with children and young people from a wide range of faiths and backgrounds. Young Arts Groups are run by volunteer teams providing school-age children with a broad range of opportunities to engage with the arts.

Young Arts activities include:

• working with arts professionals
• developing skills in researching, presenting, time-management and team-work
• museum guiding
• entering the Arts Society Chairman's Competition

Some Young Arts participants also have the opportunity to become accredited by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
